My name is Zack Roman. Â I’m using this site to document assorted issues I come accross in computing and perhaps other places, in the hopes that someone else might benefit from what I find.
A little about me
I have a degree in Computer Engineering (combination of EE/CS) from Texas A&M University. I worked for several years doing .Net programming writing (industrial) plant management applications (training, procedures, etc.), then later working for an IT Consulting company. Â After several years of programming I realized that it wasn’t what I wanted to be doing full time for the rest of my life. Â I now work for a company that makes and designs MWD sensors as an Embedded Systems Engineer. Â Basically I get to do firmware, software, electrical engineering, and production support… Â in short, a little bit of everything, which keeps me from getting bored.
